CAREERS & SCHOOL EVENTS/PRESENTATIONS 2019/20

Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and website for future careers events, school presentations etc. These are great ways of finding out all about the Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering.

Thursday 7 November 2019. Forfar Academy Careers Fair 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Wednesday 27 November 2019. One of our Instructors will be attending 2 presentations in the afternoon at Inverbrothock Primary School, as part of the school’s week long Careers Fair for P7s to hopefully inspire the pupils and let them know some of the opportunities available in the area and perhaps get them thinking about apprenticeships in engineering in their futures.

Wednesday 4 December 2019. St John’s RC High School, Dundee Careers Exhibition 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Thursday 16 January 2020. Grove Academy 6:30 – 8:30 pm. This covers Craigie High, Braeview Academy and Morgan Academy.

Wednesday 5 February 2020. Webster’s High School Careers Convention 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

ABRASIVE WHEEL COURSE – NOVEMBER 2019

ABRASIVE WHEEL COURSE

WEDNESDAY 20 NOVEMBER 2019

 

We are currently taking bookings for the above course.

 

The 1/2 day course is to be held at our premises on Wednesday 20 November 2019 from 9:00 am—1:30 pm.

 

This training course offers operators of abrasive wheels from all types of industry the opportunity to be trained to the requirements of PROVISION & USE of WORK EQUIPMENT REGULATIONS (PUWER), including practical training.  Please bring PPE for the practical training.

 

The cost of the above course is £75 + VAT per person.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID COURSE

 

MONDAY 28 OCTOBER 2019

Course Instructor:  Paul Russell

 

We are running the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course on MONDAY 28 OCTOBER 2019.

 

The cost of the course is £100 plus VAT per person and runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm.

 

This course provides basic First Aid instruction for persons required by their employer to act as the appointed person responsible for the immediate response to a First Aid emergency, in circumstances where there are no qualified First Aiders.
