EMERGENCY FIRST AID COURSE

 MONDAY 24 OCTOBER 2016

 Course Instructor: Paul Russell

 

We are running the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course on MONDAY 24 OCTOBER 2016.

 

The cost of the course is £100 plus VAT per person and runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm.

 

This course provides basic First Aid instruction for persons required by their employer to act as the appointed person responsible for the immediate response to a First Aid emergency, in circumstances where there are no qualified First Aiders.

We are currently taking bookings for our 2 day First Aid at Work Refresher course.

 

The course will run on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 September 2016 at our centre. The course runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm. The cost of the course is £130.00 plus VAT.

This training course offers personnel requiring renewal of existing certificates (3 years) the chance to re-certificate. Persons attending this course must have valid certificates.

ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY – WINNERS 2015/16

We held our annual awards ceremony on Wednesday 6 July and are pleased to note the winners below. Well done to all of the winners.

Apprentice(s) of the Year were Euan Anderson of GE Oil & Gas, Montrose and Evan Hill of GlaxoSmithKline, Montrose.

Local Apprentice of the Year was Evan Hill, GlaxoSmithKline.

Machinist(s) of the Year were Murray Smith and Adam Dickson, both of GE Oil & Gas, Brent Avenue, Montrose.

Most Improved Apprentice was Sean Whyte of GE Oil & Gas, Aberdeen.

Best Hand Skills were Evan Hill, GlaxoSmithKline and Euan Anderson, GE Oil & Gas.

Craft Competition Entrants were Euan Anderson (Mechanical) of GE Oil & Gas and Keelan Deas (Electrical) of NOV Portlethen.

Prize money and gift vouchers donated by Arbroath Rotary, Arbroath Guildry and GlaxoSmithKline.

Angus Training Group Ltd celebrate 50 years in the training sector, having opened in 1966 in an old mill at Brothock Bridge, Arbroath. We then moved to our current site at Catherine Street, Arbroath in 1979 with the official opening being carried out by Group Captain Sir Douglas Bader on 4 April 1979.
