A reminder to make sure you check your e-mails including spam/junk folders. Companies looking to take on apprentices this year often e-mail applicants they are interested in to set up their own interviews and you should respond to any e-mails promptly.

The same applies to checking and answering any calls you receive as this again could be companies trying to get hold of you.

We have been made aware from companies that they have tried to contact some applicants who have not replied to e-mails or telephone messages.

If you have decided you do not wish to progress your application further this year, please let us know ASAP so we can update both our records and the online portal of applications which companies have access to. This will hopefully help to avoid companies wasting their time trying to contact applicants who don’t respond to e-mails or telephone calls.

If you wish to withdraw your application for whatever reason, staying on at school, going to college, got another job etc, please e-mail vanessa@atgltd.co.uk now.

These type of events are great ways for pupils leaving school next year, or any future year, to find out about the Engineering Modern Apprenticeship and ask any questions they may have.

We are running the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course on Thursday 22 June 2023.

The cost of the course is £110 plus VAT per person and runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm.

This course provides basic First Aid instruction for persons required by their employer to act as the appointed person responsible for the immediate response to a First Aid emergency, in circumstances where there are no qualified First Aiders.

Our portal of successful applications is up and running and all companies who are looking to take on apprentices this year will have access to it. Whilst some companies already have access it, some companies have still to do so.

Companies will contact any applicants they are interested in directly, so a reminder to keep checking your e-mails and answer any calls you get, as this could be companies trying to get hold of you to set up their own interviews.

As per previous posts, whilst nearly all applicants have replied to our e-mails asking them to confirm whether or not they still want to proceed with their application, if anything has changed, or you’re one of the applicants who hasn’t responded to the e-mails, please let us know ASAP so we can update the portal to avoid wasting the time of companies looking to take on apprentices.
