SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS/CAREERS EVENTS 2022/23
Our Instructors will be attending school presentations and career events and noted below are events they will be attending. These presentations and events are a great way to find out all about engineering Modern Apprenticeships and the different areas within engineering available. Our Instructors are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
Keep an eye on our page for updates to any more events we will be attending.
We have contacted all secondary schools in Angus and Dundee as well as Mearns Academy to let them know we are happy to attend for presentations etc.

Carnoustie High School on Monday 28 November @ 12 Noon
Morgan & Braeview Academy joint event – Monday 28 November 4 – 6 pm @ Morgan Academy
Monifieth High School – Tuesday 29 November 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Carnoustie High School pupils have also been invited to attend this event.

ABRASIVE WHEELS COURSE – 14 NOVEMBER 2022

ABRASIVE WHEELS – MONDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2022

We are currently taking bookings for the above course.

The 1/2 day course is to be held at our premises on MONDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2022 9:00 am—12:30 pm.

This training course offers operators of abrasive wheels from all types of industry the opportunity to be trained to the requirements of PROVISION & USE of WORK EQUIPMENT REGULATIONS (PUWER). It is recommended that re-training is done every 3 years.

The cost of the course is £80 + VAT per person.

We can also hold courses in company and on other dates if required.

FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE
TUESDAY 1—THURSDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2022
Course Instructor: Paul Russell
We are currently taking bookings for our 3 day First Aid at Work course.
The course will run on TUESDAY 1—THURSDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2022 at our centre. The course runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm. The cost of the course is £230.00 plus VAT per person
This course offers personnel requiring training to become Certificated First Aiders for the purposes of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE – 5 SPACES AVAILABLE
TUESDAY 25 OCTOBER 2022
Course Instructor: Paul Russell
We are running the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course on Tuesday 25 October 2022.
The cost of the course is £110 plus VAT per person and runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm.
This course provides basic First Aid instruction for persons required by their employer to act as the appointed person responsible for the immediate response to a First Aid emergency, in circumstances where there are no qualified First Aiders.
