UPCOMING FIRST AID AT WORK COURSES

FIRST AID AT WORK COURSES
 
We have the following spaces on upcoming FAW courses:
 
2 Day Refresher Course: Tuesday 7 & Wednesday 8 June x 7 spaces.
This course is intended for all fully qualified First Aiders to refresh their training. Cost £140 + VAT per person. Candidates can renew up to 3 months prior to the expiry of their existing certificate and although it is preferable to renew on or before the expiry date of existing certificate, there is a grace period of up to 28 days.
 
3 Day Course: Tuesday 14 – Thursday 16 June x 4 spaces.
This course is intended for all personnel requiring training to become Certificated First Aiders for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Cost £220 + VAT per person.
 
Emergency 1 Day FAW Course: Tuesday 12 July x 7 spaces.
This course is intended to provide basic First Aid instruction for persons required by their employer to act as the appointed person responsible for the immediate response to a First Aid emergency, in circumstances where there are no qualified First Aiders. Cost: £100 + VAT per person.

APPRENTICE RECRUITMENT 2022

APPRENTICE INTAKE 2022
That is our recruitment process now complete and companies looking to take on apprentices this year will have access to the online portal of applications from tomorrow, Wednesday 1 June, to look at all the successful applications.
Companies will contact applicants directly to set up their own interviews so please ensure you check your e-mails regularly and answer any calls you get as this could be companies trying to reach you. If companies do contact you about an interview, please ensure you can make the date and time.
If you have decided you no longer wish to take your application further for whatever reason – staying on at school, got another job, college or such like, please let us know immediately so we can update both our records and the online portal to avoid wasting the time of companies, ourselves and you.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE

We are running the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course on Tuesday 12 July 2022.

The cost of the course is £100 plus VAT per person and runs from 9.00 am—4.00 pm.

This course provides basic First Aid instruction for persons required by their employer to act as the appointed person responsible for the immediate response to a First Aid emergency, in circumstances where there are no qualified First Aiders.

Please note the closing date for recruitment for the 2022 apprentice intake is TUESDAY 24 MAY 2022. If you would like to apply please do so as soon as possible.
For those who have applied and have still to complete the test or book their online interview slot, please also do so ASAP.
If you think you’ve got the right skills and attitude for an engineering apprenticeship, we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
Under the Modern Apprenticeships heading, click on the Candidate Prospectus for lots of information, including the different areas of engineering there is.
To apply, follow these steps:
Click on Apprentice Application Form
Save the form to your own files
Complete the form and save it again
Submit the saved form to us, attaching the other paperwork asked for.
Alternatively, e-mail enquiries@atgltd.co.uk and an application form can be e-mailed to you, or you can pick one up from Reception.
We acknowledge every application received so if you haven’t had an e-mail confirming receipt it means we haven’t received it. Please check your spam/junk folders and respond to any e-mails you receive from us as required.
On receipt of your completed application form and supporting paperwork, you will be e-mailed links for the online aptitude test.
There are sample questions of the type asked in the test under the Recruitment heading in Modern Apprenticeships. Work out the answers to the sample questions then check against the Solution to Test button under the Apprentice Application Form heading.
