Engineering Apprentices
MacIntyre Chocolate Systems wish to invite applications for Engineering Modern Apprenticeships (Welding/Fabrication, CNC operators and Mechanical/Electrical Technicians) starting August 2022.
Located in Scotland, MacIntyre Chocolate Systems is a worldwide supplier of chocolate manufacturing and processing equipment.
Part of HDM (Hamburg Dresdner Maschinenfabriken), we are proud to offer solutions for small, medium and large scale processing of pure chocolates, compounds, truffles, creme fillings, using our Next Generation MacIntyre Refiner/Conches through to pumps, filters, storage tanks, cocoa butter & liquor melters, product rework systems, ancillary equipment, and artisan line for fine chocolate making.
The Engineering Apprenticeship programme is part of the Company's strategic plan and is designed to ensure high quality candidates coming into the business, primarily into Engineering or Manufacturing.
The training programme lasts four years.
The first year is spent at Angus Training Group in Arbroath. Years 2, 3 & 4 are spent at MacIntyre's premises in Arbroath.
Studying will involve some day release and will be to NC/HNC (depending on academic qualifications, company requirement and aptitude testing).
